Website analytics and advertising
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and page performance. Cloudflare explains what its browser beacon measures in its Web Analytics documentation. Requests to Cloudflare also support hosting, security, and delivery, as described below.
Advertising is currently disabled while the site’s English content is reviewed. This version does not load Google Analytics 4. Before enabling advertising or additional analytics, I will update this notice to describe the services actually in use and provide the necessary consent and privacy controls.
Comments and messages you send
Comments are provided by giscus and stored in public GitHub Discussions. Loading a comment section connects your browser to these services. Posting requires a GitHub account; your username and anything you publish may be visible to others. Please avoid putting private information in a public comment. GitHub explains its data practices in its privacy statement.
If you email me, your address and the message are available to me and my email provider so that I can respond. Do not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in a correction request.
Hosting and page resources
Cloudflare provides this site’s hosting and delivery. Requests include technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, time, and browser headers. Cloudflare may process that information for delivery, security, and abuse prevention under its privacy policy.
Some pages load resources, such as fonts, mathematical typesetting, or comments, from external providers. Those requests disclose technical connection details to the provider. Google describes its handling of data from partner sites in How Google uses information. Your browser may cache resources to make later visits faster.
Your choices
Use Privacy and cookie settings in the footer to return to this notice. Where available, Change consent choices reopens this site’s Google consent message. If that control is unavailable, you can contact me at the address above. An unavailable control does not erase choices saved in your browser.
You can read the articles without creating an account or posting a comment. Browser settings and extensions can restrict third-party requests, cookies, or local storage; some optional features may then be unavailable. You can contact me about information you sent directly or content you posted in a discussion. GitHub also provides account and content controls for its own services.
If personalized Google ads are introduced, Google and other participating vendors may use cookies based on previous visits to this and other sites. Google’s advertising cookies can help it and its partners personalize ads. You can manage Google’s advertising personalization in My Ad Center. This external setting is separate from any consent choice required on this site.
